About ETE Oversight

We don't build AI.
We oversee it.

ETE Oversight provides independent AI evaluation, governance, and assurance services for government agencies, public-sector contractors, and organizations deploying consequential AI systems.

That distinction — between those who build AI and those who oversee it — is the foundation of everything we do.

Our Mission

To provide government agencies, federal contractors, and public-sector organizations with the independent AI evaluation and oversight they need to deploy AI with greater confidence — with appropriate evidence, governance, accountability, and lifecycle oversight in place.

ETE maintains independence from the AI systems it evaluates. We do not sell or implement the AI systems under independent assessment, allowing our findings to remain focused on evidence, risk, governance, and accountability.

Our Approach

Our methodology is informed by the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and current federal AI governance and acquisition guidance. Every assessment follows a consistent, documented process — producing findings that are traceable, repeatable, and defensible.

We work with organizations at every stage of the AI lifecycle — from pre-procurement due diligence through ongoing oversight of deployed systems.

Not the AI Vendor

We have no stake in the system being evaluated.

Not the Integrator

We do not implement the systems we assess.

Not the Consultant

We have no technology practice to protect.

ETE Oversight

Government is deploying AI at scale. The structural need for an independent evaluation and oversight layer — one that is not the AI vendor, not the system integrator, and not the consulting firm with a technology practice — is real and growing.

ETE Oversight was created to build that layer: the assessment model, the methodology, the partnerships, and the multidisciplinary capability required to evaluate AI systems independently and help government organizations deploy AI with appropriate evidence, governance, and oversight in place.

The goal is not to slow AI adoption. It is to make responsible adoption more achievable — by giving decision-makers an independent view of what they are deploying before they deploy it, and a structured way to maintain oversight afterward.

Our Values

Independence

ETE maintains independence from the AI systems it evaluates. We do not sell or implement the AI systems under independent assessment, allowing our findings to remain focused on evidence, risk, governance, and accountability.

Documentation

Every engagement produces written findings — not verbal summaries or slide decks without substance.

Defensibility

Consistent, repeatable processes built to withstand scrutiny from legal, procurement, and oversight bodies.

Government focus

Focused on the governance, evaluation, assurance, and oversight requirements of government, public-sector, and government-contractor AI environments.

Transparency

We explain our methodology, our findings, and our reasoning. No black-box assessments.

Accountability

We stand behind our work. Our name is on every report we produce.
